hi there, i’ve just built a 4-6 person barrel sauna from finnmark. i’m not sure if we need to install a carbon monoxide detector or not. the sauna has good ventilation … we will be using it ourselves and for guests at our small glamping site. i can’t find any alarms online that are specified for saunas? any help appreciated, thanks, henry

As far as I know, there aren’t any standard carbon monoxide detectors that could withstand the sauna heat. There are industrial ones that use remote probes but they usually cost thousands.
You could buy a handheld detector instead and test occasionally if the ventilation is working well.
