Hi everybody, first post here on this great site.
I am building a sauna on a trailer. following the guidance received here, I understand to only use stainless steel fixings on the inside of the sauna membrane.
We will be using 90 mm Aspen t&g cladding internally from sauna-direct.
I was going to nail fix through the tongue with 40 or 50 mm stainless brads, however the cladding supplier recommends using their hidden fixing clips to better accommodate movement in the cladding.
The clips are only gslvanised steel, so I would be concerned that they will deteriorate behind the cladding over time.
Opinions?
Many thanks
Jens
