Gabrielle here, director at the BSS. Numbers you can use to talk about growth of sauna in the UK:

Best numbers I’ve found:

  • Growth of saunas in the UK. This is just below 600 now, which is incredible. We track them on the Sauna Map. I’ve been counting them since early 2023, and the numbers have been roughly doubling each year.

  • Finnmark, one of the leading UK suppliers and builders of saunas in the UK, quotes that they’re installing 70-90 new saunas in the UK per week

  • Grand View Research predicts that the UK will be the largest market for sauna in Europe by 2033.
